Ciao friends and family!

This blog is now my personal space.  My life as it happens.  A way for friends and family to stay connected while we continue our military journey from place to place. 

In the past this blog has been mainly a space to write about clients and their families. I will no longer be updating this blog with my recent commissioned work.

New Stomping Grounds…

We have arrived to our new stomping grounds. Our new home is the same for the 2009 Little League World Champions, Chargers and Padres: San Diego!

The weather is amazing and the views are spectacular!  Which I guess explains our new business of the Stone Bed and Breakfast with your own personal tour guide.  Of course I would not have it any other way.  Being overseas for 10 years, it is pretty much a given no one is coming to visit for the most part.  So I love the fact that thus far, almost every week that we have been here, we have had house guest.

For me it is fun.  I get to find new cool things.  I like to think about what my friends and family enjoy, then go find things to match that.  It is kinda like Christmas.  Shopping around for the perfect place then watching and listening to them enjoy it.

Then of course, there is the reason to cook.  I love to cook.  Tony is a simple man.  He likes simple things on his plate.  I on the other hand, jazz things up.  So when folks are visiting, I get really excited!  I get to try new things in the kitchen.  I run to one of the organic little farmers market and go to town.

So if you want to come visit, we will keep the light on for you.

This image of the Old Point Loma Lighthouse reminds me of the images on display inside.  I was going to take the people out, but they kind of fit.  It is as if they are working the grounds.
