Ciao friends and family!

This blog is now my personal space.  My life as it happens.  A way for friends and family to stay connected while we continue our military journey from place to place.

In the past this blog has been mainly a space to write about clients and their families. I will no longer be updating this blog with my recent commissioned work.

In the land of cyberworld, I have been hesitant to write about my personal life.  In an effort to keep connected to my friends and family, while still maintaining my privacy, I will now have all future post require a password.  If you have not been given the password yet, please text me, use the contact form here on the blog or email me.

With what you have…

The first part being…do what you can..with what you have.

This is what I call a “oh here we go” kinda of statement.  That normally, 9 times out of 10 depend on what country song I just heard or what image I just looked in my head or in an album.

Thankfully this time it is objective.  Fact related.  Nothing deep. Well kinda not deep.  The first part anyway.  :-)

First part being…All I had was a point and shoot.  All the light I had was the moon.  And the view as I sat there with my hubby was spectacular.  So I did what I could with what I had.  Because really…. it was an awesome site.

the stats…Time 10PM  or later ..no flash, 3 glasses of wine down…2 second exposure f stop 4

Second part being…when I miss Tony and can’t seem to occupy my mind with anything else, I go to the pictures.  Doing what I can with what I have.

This image was the last date we had together back in June while in California visiting him before he flew off to the middle east, before my life really turned up side down.  It was a quiet little bistro just off the water.  The food was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing.

And if you want to take it up a notch to the sappy place…listen to this song by Alicia Keys  Distance and Time

Look for more travel photography to come..I normally dont share my personal travel work on the blog..but I think I might start.  It is a true love of mine.

ciao for now…shel
