Ciao friends and family!

This blog is now my personal space.  My life as it happens.  A way for friends and family to stay connected while we continue our military journey from place to place.

In the past this blog has been mainly a space to write about clients and their families. I will no longer be updating this blog with my recent commissioned work.

In the land of cyberworld, I have been hesitant to write about my personal life.  In an effort to keep connected to my friends and family, while still maintaining my privacy, I will now have all future post require a password.  If you have not been given the password yet, please text me, use the contact form here on the blog or email me.

Mad Men…

So I have always thought I would fit right in back in the 50′s.  I love the style of dress.  I love the old buildings and signs.  I love the cars.  Oh man the cars.

As I listen to the Gayle King Show on XM Radio, as I do every morning, she begins to talk about this show called Mad Men.  And then she continues to talk about it.  Like OMG I almost missed Mad Men in traffic last night, talk about it.  So it must be something to see.

With my recent trip to shoot a wedding with Suwanee, I thought perfect.  Long day of traveling+No Kid=Mad Men Marathon.

So that is what I did.  Downloaded all the shows straight to the IPod and off I went.  Back in time…to the 50′s!

When we decided to do a last minute photo shoot for each other, I knew exactly what I wanted.  I wanted to be a 1950′s girl.

Although, I may not look exactly how the gals looked back then, I felt like it inside.  Here are is alittle sneak peek of what the fab Suwanee of Suwanee Photography captured.

Traci - You look great. I always wanted to live back in those times as well. The woman was so respected then and the men were such gentleman. Life seemed so much slower pace then. Well times change and boy have they. You rocked it on this one. Traci

Shelia - thanks girl! can't you just see us at the soda flountain counter giggling that jerry dee held the door open for us. :-)
