Ciao friends and family!

This blog is now my personal space.  My life as it happens.  A way for friends and family to stay connected while we continue our military journey from place to place.

In the past this blog has been mainly a space to write about clients and their families. I will no longer be updating this blog with my recent commissioned work.

In the land of cyberworld, I have been hesitant to write about my personal life.  In an effort to keep connected to my friends and family, while still maintaining my privacy, I will now have all future post require a password.  If you have not been given the password yet, please text me, use the contact form here on the blog or email me.

Swim at your own risk…

sometimes life gives you signs.

and sometimes those signs are right in front of your face.

and sometimes that are not.

and sometimes they make you stop and go huh??

like this one I found on our recent camping trip. only to look at the swimming opportunity down below.

01

years ago we decided to go up to Blanco state park and go camping.

like 6 or 7  years ago or so.  with tents. and lanterns. and sleeping bags.

and phase ten.

dear lord phase ten.

now they say that i stomped off in a huff during one game.  but I think they have got the wrong person.

me. get mad. during a game.

no. never.

well ever since then that story has been told on the annual camping trip that I have yet to be able to redeem myself on.  I have always been overseas.  well not this year. i was here.

and let me tell you.  things have changed.

there are no longer sleeping bags or tents or lanterns.

there are sleeping cots and cabins and potter potties and gas stoves to do the dishes and skillets to make omelets and christmas lights and coffe pots and on and on and on…we looked like the beverly hillbillies pulling in there.  mom wanted to hook up the horse trailer to haul everything.  seriously.

so before I do a full post on the micheal jackson incident or the emmy fit or the huge fish dad caught from dinner or the smores or how the river was bone dry or the head first crash emmy had on her bike or the snake that stopped mom in her tracks or the 360′s monica and emmy did in the super s shopping cart that was too damn big for a 6 lane highway or how I DIDNT get made and stomp off in phase ten, I will show my obsession with nature and trees and old buildings.

ciao for now…shel

Traci - I had a blast. I'm almost ready to go back. Ha! Lets not forget the Super S trip with Monica. I have never been in a grocery store were I felt we may get thrown out of....lol Miss ya! Traci

Shelia - LOL!! I forgot about that! how could I?? I know the folks there are probably still talking about the crazy tourist that walked in there! ...I need to edit the post and add that!

Melanie - We camped there over spring break this year....I'd never been there, but loved it! The colors were great and the ducks tripped me out....I'm used to deer in my campsite, not quackers! Glad you had fun, oh and we were in a tent the first night that leaked and were miserable so the next night we were in a cabin overlooking the beautiful river! Hope you are well, have a great day! Mel
