Ciao! Welcome to the blog-Upclose and Real

Sono Shelia!  To sum up...I am a mom that adores her little one, a navy wife and I gal that just loves her family and friends..Oh and this small little obession I have with Italy!  I am a lover of all things Italian.  The food.  The people.  The shoes.  The clothes that I will never be able to wear. The 4 hour mid-day breaks.  The slow life.  One day I will live there again.  And when I do you can bet my lens will go everywhere with me.  Because that is just what I do- document.  I document everything.  And that is what you will find here on this blog.  My journeys in life.  The day to day happenings here at the studio. My little one and all her glory. And of course images galore!!

Our morning…

about a week ago… or so….

So it would of made more sense to post this..oh on the first day of school…since it is her first day of school and all in the images…

B-U-T and this a big but…her first week of school was insanely insane….

Not only did she start her first day of school but so did momma…Yippers ladies and gents, I am back in the classroom.  Me and 42  3 years old.  The aid for one of the preschool rooms had an emergency leave so I have been helping out in there. 

And let me tell, special mommy hugs to all the teachers….and super super big mommy hugs to all the preschool teachers!

So every morning, we have been waking up at the crack of dawn and functioning before 0630.  Now for most working folks you are probably playing the silent violin right now.  Fellow photographers back a sista help, our schedules  just aren’t the same.

Then add on that my nephew had emergency surgery to remove his appendics.  Poor little guy.  But he is doing much better, out of the hospital and ready to go to school.  Emmy of course is loving school and momma, well I am hanging in there!

So here it is…Emmersyn’s first day of school, like a week late…. {note…dont judge me on these images..remember it was about 6am and my brain was not functioning at that time}

edited…I been getting questions on the back pack and the clothes…backpack from pottery barn kids and the clothes and boots are from The Childrens Place and the hair..well that is the new style of bed head….:-)

Melanie - Sister I am with you on the three yr olds, I have 16 and they kick my ass. Long days....1pm takes forever to arrive! Have a great one. BTW...she is beautiful!!!

Shelia - girl...I hear you..4pm is tick tock tick tock!...by the end of the day I am ready to fall over! I think yesterday I did. The kids thought I was nutzos! The ceiling sitution takes the cake though! mums the word!

Deb~ - Im backing you up girl... don't know how you do it! I feel guilty, I was in bed until 8:20am. But believe me, these are the times your little one will remember. Momma loves her and thats all that matters!
