Ciao friends and family!

This blog is now my personal space.  My life as it happens.  A way for friends and family to stay connected while we continue our military journey from place to place.

In the past this blog has been mainly a space to write about clients and their families. I will no longer be updating this blog with my recent commissioned work.

In the land of cyberworld, I have been hesitant to write about my personal life.  In an effort to keep connected to my friends and family, while still maintaining my privacy, I will now have all future post require a password.  If you have not been given the password yet, please text me, use the contact form here on the blog or email me.

Monday Ramblings

happy happy monday!!

Is it really monday already…what a week!

________________

We successfully completed our first week of summer.  It did include a trip to the ER, but hey, it was bound to happen one day.

My Emmy.  Such a little active child with little elbows that just are not cut out for her lifestyle.  we had another popped out elbow.  I was concerned because when she was about 1.5-2 she had three of these things all back to back and they were talking about casting when it happens again.  Seriously a three year old in a cast.  No thanks! and in the summer…super duper no thanks!!

So after calling lots of people, we ended up in the ER.  When I say we, I mean, my friend Sara that just arrived the night before and her 2 year old.  Nothing like driving hours to come visit and end up in the ER.  We did have plans for Fiesta Texas, car was loaded and we were almost golden.

They popped her elbow back in place while the look of death was on Em’s face saying please please save me!!! After that she was fine but just really really annoyed that her arm was in a temp cast.

We did make it to Fiesta Texas later in the week.  Em is back to her old self and very pleased that the doctor didnt “cut” her and that her arm is not “broken” any more from the “wreck” with the “sit and spin thing.”  This is the story she tells folks.

So interesting to hear what goes on in her little mind.

I just smile and thank the lord summer activities can continue as planned!!
