Ciao friends and family!

This blog is now my personal space.  My life as it happens.  A way for friends and family to stay connected while we continue our military journey from place to place.

In the past this blog has been mainly a space to write about clients and their families. I will no longer be updating this blog with my recent commissioned work.

In the land of cyberworld, I have been hesitant to write about my personal life.  In an effort to keep connected to my friends and family, while still maintaining my privacy, I will now have all future post require a password.  If you have not been given the password yet, please text me, use the contact form here on the blog or email me.

Before and Afters…

Here we go, some before and afters…

These were taken just after sunset, the light that was still out there was flat and it was pretty gloomy outside with a lot of cloud coverage as you can tell.

If I know the color is going to be way off, I normally shot in camera black and white.  But I knew I wanted to do these for before and afters, so I shot in color.

Canon 5D- 50 mm lens, ISO 640, 1/1600, fstop 1.2

Here is the after…

I simply bumped up my curves, did a little ying and yang from TRA Actions  to lighten up the hair on Yuna and Emmy’s face and ran Hot Fudge from Kevin Kubotas Action Set Love his actions. And that was it.  Huge difference huh?? Took all of 15 seconds to do!

Now normally I would clone out the light pole you see in the distance as well.

Here are few more doing the same recipe of actions. To save even more time you can batch them all running the actions.  023

These two images make me smile.  She really does love her Yuna!014

ciao for now..shel

Kenna Skinner - OMG...I will have to show my girls! They won't believe Emmy has her own horse! My parents even have 80 acres! I think we need one too!! Great processsing!

Shelia - ciao ciao Kenna!! It started in Japan with her love affair of a horse named Yuna at the zoo. I remember the first time she rode Yuna there, the look on her face was priceless. She was so proud and joyful. From then on she was hooked. So the next logical thing to do was to ask her PawPaw for a horse of course. So now she has her Yuna in Texas. :-) She is working her grandma on a dog (house dog). Not sure it will be as easy as the horse.

Neva - Em may like her Yuna, but I bet her mama didn't so much after buying a brand new car and shoveling for days to prepare for a party.
