Ciao friends and family!

This blog is now my personal space.  My life as it happens.  A way for friends and family to stay connected while we continue our military journey from place to place. 

In the past this blog has been mainly a space to write about clients and their families. I will no longer be updating this blog with my recent commissioned work.

I just picked up the phone and called her.  I had to.  Something was saying….just call…so I did…slowly dialing the numbers..while thinking..am-I-reeeeeally-calling?? Will she think I am nutzo?? Will she liiiike me?? What will she think of my work??? By the time I thought the next random thing like I was jr high again her bubbly voice picked up the phone…

We  hit it off immediately! She is a military wife and so am I.  Her husband is leaving a for a year and so is mine.  She has a fresh approach to weddings and so do I.  Once I saw her images, I knew I would like her. 

So we decided to do one of my fav things to do…EAT! We made a lunch date  and I cracked up the whole time! Seriously funny this chic! 

Who is the her exactly..well her is Deborah with DB IMAGES PHOTOGRAPHY I wanted to call her to build a network in the area and see if she needed any second shooters since I am new to the area.  I love to network and hang with other cool photog.  Key word cool…aka as super laid back, likes to have some laughs, doesn’t get caught up in the cut throat stuff that you can easily find in this biz….folks that just love photog and their subjects….folks that are doing something a little off the wall when it comes to imagery. that is who i want to network with…and she does…

After we got to talking she told me about her hubby leaving and all the weddings she has booked..seriously busy this little lady……

Deb~ - Thanks for the shout out Shelia... I just read yours and we are too alike for words! My blog post today was all about you, and we wrote very similar pieces. Too funny! Lovin' it! :) P.S. Your hubby is home in just 2 more days!!! Whoo-hoo!!!

shelia - Too funny!! I know I can't believe he is almost home!! Time has just flown by!!

Suwanee - You two sound like a match made in heaven...to be shooting side by side and to support each other as military wives in this jungly mess of a thing called life--you know how difficult that can be-so you go girls-kudos to both of you and keep on rocking the wedding industry in the south!!!

Pamela - YEAH, Shelia found a cool photo friend and someone to eat with, I miss our crazy capriossio (can't spell but who cares!) lunches, but maybe I am losing some weight LOL. I think we went maybe 3 times in that last week you were here! Rock on!
