Ciao friends and family!

This blog is now my personal space.  My life as it happens.  A way for friends and family to stay connected while we continue our military journey from place to place.

In the past this blog has been mainly a space to write about clients and their families. I will no longer be updating this blog with my recent commissioned work.

In the land of cyberworld, I have been hesitant to write about my personal life.  In an effort to keep connected to my friends and family, while still maintaining my privacy, I will now have all future post require a password.  If you have not been given the password yet, please text me, use the contact form here on the blog or email me.

expect the unexpected…

so.   i have been getting some flack about my posting these days or lack-there-of.  I get a kick out of your emails asking if I am ok and then saying get on with it already!  LOL!!  I will get back in the swing of things soon..I still cant believe it it has been 2 weeks already going on three since we got of the plane and stepped on American Soil…taking it easy-breezy for now…It is nice to know that I am missed.  I see yall out…my little blog is getting around…places like Germany and Singapore and Italy and China and Thailand and Japan and many many more..I always wonder how folks find me or who exactly you are…Come out of the woods and say hi! I love to meet new folks and especially those in other lands!  And I am also grateful to be in the same time zone as my cyber friends here in America…so as I wait for my computer to come with image software and processing to resume session sneak peeks and personal images, I am a little lost for words..

So here we go…nothing exciting to report..unless you consider your mom picking cacti out of your aaaarsh only to encourage your three year daughter to want to get in on the action with her {gentle} touch…then to see your dad walk by while your aaarsh is just out there for all to see!  Yeah that is exciting!  Not really what I thought would happen as a result of driving to a birthday party…

how exactly did cacti make it’s little way into my dairy-air…(hook on phonics works for me)…well I am not sure really..I guess I sat on it while proceeding to kick through a truck window with 3 inch heels on….at the time my heart was working overload and adrenaline was on high…we came upon a really bad accident on the way to the party….praise God everyone seems to be fine.  There are some cuts and I am sure will be lots and lots of bruises and aches but everyone is alive.  Truely truely blessed folks from the accident.  Be nice to strangers and love your family.  You never know what will happen from minute to minute.  live the day and count your blessings with a smile.

We arrived fashionably late to the party..emmersyn looking cute as can be..me on the other hand, not so much..I try not to sit because of all the prickly pears violating me even as we speak…only to see when we leave that my brand spankin new SUV has been gnawed on by our horses…

Yes you read that right…One of our horses got hungry and decided to have an appetizer of  my vechile!!  Which by the way was not even 2 days old!  Can you believe that…who would of thought…not eye said the fly…but really …i guess you have to expect the unexpected! and let out a really good laugh!

hmmmm…I wonder if I can expect this cacti to be the fat eating ones…I would be forever grateful for them to have a full course meal at my expense…that way I didn’t have to run anymore!

ciao for now…shel

Neva - I thought someone keyed your new car; I didn't know it was the horses. THAT BITES BIG ONES! I bet you were wishin you were back in Japan about then. Have you gotten any calls from Kenedy for photo shoots; if no you should soon. Hey if those cacti are fat eating let me know I may try one! Love ya!

Shelia - nopers it might be easier to swallow if it was some hoodlems instead of a horse! but it was a horse of course! LOL..so lame I cant believe I just typed that! and I will get back to you on the cacti..if it does I bet I could go bottle it up and make a killin!! special price for you my friend!!

Jenny - oh man that totally sucks!!! I have never heard of that, a horse nibbling away on a car! What did you end up buying?? Car buying is such a hassel.

Shelia - Ciao Jenny! I know totally sucks..but I just have to laugh...I mean seriously..there have been 4 other cars/trucks that are just as delicous out there just sitting and waiting..free for all..and they decide to not only to gnawl on my car but also crap on it!! Which one did I go with...The Honda Pilot Touring 4WD! and I LOVE IT!!! Seriously it is the sweetest car ever..I am still thinking of name for her...any ideas??

Pamela - yeeeee haaawwwwwwww, ride 'em (or should I say chew on t y'all!!!) Typed in my best Texas accent! LOL (bloody horses!)
