Ciao friends and family!

This blog is now my personal space.  My life as it happens.  A way for friends and family to stay connected while we continue our military journey from place to place.

In the past this blog has been mainly a space to write about clients and their families. I will no longer be updating this blog with my recent commissioned work.

In the land of cyberworld, I have been hesitant to write about my personal life.  In an effort to keep connected to my friends and family, while still maintaining my privacy, I will now have all future post require a password.  If you have not been given the password yet, please text me, use the contact form here on the blog or email me.

Until we meet again

The day has come to leave our little island…the place that my baby was born, friendships were made, and my business began.  Lots of new beginnings and for that I am thankful.  Thank you Okinawa for supporting me and my biz.  I have had the pleasure of photog many families and kiddos here on the island.  Some of the sweetest folks ever!! And ofcourse the cutest munckins around!!!  Thank you for allowing me to do what I love.

Thank you to all the friends that have made me laugh and think differently about life, love and happiness.  I will truly miss our little world here. The food, the culture, the driving (ok not really the driving), the beaches, the peace signs, the bagel shop, the penne and pasta place, the random soda machines on every corner and dirt road, the sugar cane lined roads, the english translations, the welcoming spirit every-time you walk in or walk out of store, the hundred yen store that you just know you can always find something at, and again our dear friends.

We hit the road tomorrow to start a new journey in life that involves cows and cow poop and a pony named Yuna!  Watch out Texas here we come!!!

Until we meet again…shel

Tari - Shel, WEll young lady, you have mesmerized me with your photos and your exceptional talent, to say the least..and to think way back in Bahrain you were wondering what you would do and where you would go and who you would spend time with...as I read your blogs and remember back when you were a intern just waiting to see where Bahrain would lead you.... how amazing your journey has been..and continues to be... I can relate to the coming back to the good ole USA with friends and family...enjoy them while you can... life is ever changing and the one thing that, whether we like it or not is "change" You have grown into a beautiful wife, mother and friend to many...Keep up your amazing work/play and keep the great attitude about people and life and one day I will see one of those pics on a bill board, magazine or just in a friends album and know you have been blessed beyond borders.. Shel, you have inspired me to get back to one of my loves, photography...I will be leaving for Spain soon and possibly stayin in Thailand for a month studying Thai massage..I wish you the best life has to offer young lady. Take life by the horns and rope it in one day at a time, cowgirl!!lol And of course my love goes out to your precious lil Em and your hansome hubby Tony as well..one day our paths may run together again..you guys always have a place to stay wherever I may be...Adios amiga, Tari

Suwanee - Sniff, sniff that you are leaving such a beautiful place, but grinning that you are coming to the same soil. Adventures await, can't wait. Travel safe and see you on the other side...Lots of love and hugs---Okinawa is going to miss ya! Suwanee

Cambria Sandoval - NNNNOOOOO! You can't leave - we didn't even get to go out for coffee and lunch yet! I wish you and your family the best of luck.
