Ciao friends and family!

This blog is now my personal space.  My life as it happens.  A way for friends and family to stay connected while we continue our military journey from place to place.

In the past this blog has been mainly a space to write about clients and their families. I will no longer be updating this blog with my recent commissioned work.

In the land of cyberworld, I have been hesitant to write about my personal life.  In an effort to keep connected to my friends and family, while still maintaining my privacy, I will now have all future post require a password.  If you have not been given the password yet, please text me, use the contact form here on the blog or email me.

Happy New Year all!!  I hope everyone had a fabulous holiday season!

With our family separation coming very near (in less then 3 weeks now yikes) I thought it was extremely important to capture our family “together”.  I have lots and lots of images of Em and Em and dad but zilch of all three of us together.  Sure I could do some photoshop magic and put my head in here and there..but why do that when I have a dear friend that I just knew would capture us being us!!  I immediately thought of PAM of Pamela Oliveras Photography here on island.  So I said Pam, how about doing a shoot swap…I photog your fam and you photog my fam…She was all about it!! So off we went!  And let me tell you, the hubbys were *thrilled* to learn that I get started early..I mean super duper early..Gotta catch that morning light! So 0730 with coffee in hand the fun began!

Immediately I started looking for something to incorporate into the shoots.  I always do this…searching the area for something on wheels! For me it is fun…little a scavanger hunt…You might notice that in my sessions.  Doing anything on wheels is ALWAYS funner than on a flat surface!! and lucky us I found this…

There was so much happening all at once so we just went with it…I mean really what can you expect with two crazy photographers with all kinds of ideas, a thing with 4 wheels, and three kiddos (one being a two year old!!!)  Here are some of my fav from the morning…

and then we went for some breakfast…and here is miss A using ketchup instead of the standard syrup on her pancakes…remember this is a non-judgemental blog sphere!  to each is their own!

thanks so much Pam for all…all the food eatin good times…all the street photog shin-digs…and most of all the crazy good times!!! it was a blast to hang out with the fams for the morning!!

Want to see some images of my fam that Pam captured…head on over to her blog at http://www.ukreal1.blogspot.com/
