Ciao! Welcome to the blog-Upclose and Real

Sono Shelia!  To sum up...I am a mom that adores her little one, a navy wife and I gal that just loves her family and friends..Oh and this small little obession I have with Italy!  I am a lover of all things Italian.  The food.  The people.  The shoes.  The clothes that I will never be able to wear. The 4 hour mid-day breaks.  The slow life.  One day I will live there again.  And when I do you can bet my lens will go everywhere with me.  Because that is just what I do- document.  I document everything.  And that is what you will find here on this blog.  My journeys in life.  The day to day happenings here at the studio. My little one and all her glory. And of course images galore!!

{Lifestyle} jennifer+tommy

These two are so cute together!  Meet Jennifer and Tommy….

When Jennifer contacted me and we talked about our session, I just knew it was going to be a blast! They wanted to capture them, their relationship, their home, their *lifestyle*.  They are both teachers (we all just love teachers!! thank you for doing what you do, day in and day out)  and they are working hard on their PHD.  So you can image this scene almost nightly……

And they just *adore* their two little munckins!

Tommy has an awesome bike….which i secretly wanted to jump on myself…buuuut I was totally chicken..i know…I know..I will jump out of perfectly good airplanes and nose dive to the earth, but I wont get on a bike.  Crazy! 

Then there is the healthy competition of a friendly game of chess…I wont tell who won!

And check it what is just out their front door..They have the *best* view I have seen on island..and some yummy golden light on the side…

And my *favorite* image from the day..nothing like a {portrait} in the bath tub!
