It hit home…
“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself.
Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. ”
—Matthew 6:25-34
I read this recently on another blog..yes i said it…a blog..not the Bible which I don’t pick up much lately unless I am at church. Not because I don’t want to, just because I haven’t made the time too. Everything else seems to get in the way. The piles of paperwork, the piles of laundry, the piles of mommy mommy mommy, the piles of—holy-shmoly–we–are–PCSing–soon, the piles of everything else that life brings me…
The scripture hit home..Hit home when it needed to. I am firm believer in everything happens for a reason..everything has purpose, a lesson, an understanding and meaning. This scripture couldn’t come across my computer at a more perfect time. I am anxious..I am very anxious about what this next year will bring. Being separated from my husband, Emmy being separated from her dad, starting my business all over in a new land, buying new cars, all the fast food that the world offers, all the shopping that will be lingering over my shoulder, the shoes, the belts, all the necklaces that are waiting for me to take them home!
I have not “lived” in the states on my “own” yet. By lived I mean, mommy and daddy hadn’t cut the umbilical cord yet..I left straight out of college for the Middle East, then Italy and now Japan. So this will be the first time, actual first time that I will be on my own. Now married and kid in tow, with all the bills, decisions and daily things that go along with being an adult. Dare I say it..A productive adult living on her own….I could go on and on..But instead I will try REALLY REALLY REALLY hard to focus on today. Just today… for today is all we really know for sure .
Speaking of hitting home…this was such a FUN session! Mom had a great idea to incorporate baseball into their session. Baseball is such a huge part of their lives and it only seemed right that I shoot the boys playing a friendly game of ball! I just love it when families want to share a piece of them with me.
see you tomorrow!

- You are doing so totally AWESOME!! I'm bummed we couldn't find the time to get together while you were here. :-( I can't wait until you come back. I want to see Emmy and I can't wait for you to phonograph Cody. He is such a camera ham these days. I wanna see what you can do with him. Take care and give little Em some kisses and hugs for us! Love you all!
