Ciao friends and family!

This blog is now my personal space.  My life as it happens.  A way for friends and family to stay connected while we continue our military journey from place to place.

In the past this blog has been mainly a space to write about clients and their families. I will no longer be updating this blog with my recent commissioned work.

In the land of cyberworld, I have been hesitant to write about my personal life.  In an effort to keep connected to my friends and family, while still maintaining my privacy, I will now have all future post require a password.  If you have not been given the password yet, please text me, use the contact form here on the blog or email me.

9-11

September 11th is no longer September 11th.  It is now and will forever be 9-11.  The day most of us will never forget.  I remember exactly what I was doing…The step by step moments that happened.  What I was wearing…The smells…The feeling of time freezing as we watched in shock and devastation.

I was Bahrain.  It was the middle of the afternoon for us with the time difference.  At the time we were not married.  I was working for Navy MWR as civilian contractor and Tony was stationed on a ship.  I was wearing my over-sized-ever-so-comfy frog PJ’s and he was wearing his orange fishing shirt.   We were taking naps because we were then and still are workaholics and were super tired…Our cell phones were ringing off the hook.  Ring after ring after ring..then the house phone started chiming in.  Turn on the TV was all my end said..Tony had to get to tje ship as they were leaving.  We were in Bahrain remind you.  For those that dont know that is in the middle east.

I turned on the TV and stood in shock.  Then I knew…I just knew when I witnessed the second one hit our lives would forever be changed.  The images that followed that day…The dust…The people…The numbers…The last messages from loved ones…

We will always remember…
