What a busy weekend we had! Did everyone check out the Flight line Fair?? This year was super duper 100% funnier than last year. At least for us anyway. Emmy ofcourse was older, which means she was able to do so much more. She even..brace yourself…did the bungee jump thing..Yes my little one…brave soul that she is…did the bungee thing without even missing a beat!! Full post with more images to come later!

How about those Olympics..Did you know that race walking was a sport…an Olympic sport at that…i was glued to the tv watching this..not that it was exciting..i was just amazed that i was watching these fellas demonstrate so much control as to not have both feet off the ground at any given moment..that and my first point..that it is an Olympic Sport..who would of thunk it??!!??

as always that must be controversy…how about the claims about the Chinese gymnasts that is supposedly under age..and she is on the host country’s team…what a bummer for them if the allegations are true….most people will forget about all the great things they (the host country) did during the Olympics and instead years down the road others will remember the under age girl that one the gold. For some reason folks like to concentrate on the negative instead of the positive…

Another week down with the boot-camp! Still going strong..John thinks I am going to burn out soon..but I am determined to stick with it!! I am in the home stretch now and super excited to see what the body fat count is..I have lost over half my body fat percentage now!!! Whoa Whooooo!

Although Laura wasnt there, I did see some friends and met some new friends and found some super cool finds! I met the yummy candle chica, Synthea…She makes the best smellin’ homemade candles I have ever laid my nose on… I bought the Strawberry Cheesecake and man o man it smells super yummy! Makes the whole house smell sweet!! I now understand the theory of making a list and sticking to it…i went up there for 2 things..only one of which I should of walked away with something tangible..and instead I walked out with bags and bags and bags!

I have searched and searched for an angle of the Ferris Wheel that I have yet to see plastered all over Okinawa..And by-golly-george I think I found it!….I love the Ferris Wheel..Even though it is sooooo American..I think when I get back to the states and see one, it will immediately take me back to my times here in Okinawa…I have wanted an image of the Ferris Wheel myself, but I wanted something different…a different take on it..and I found it this weekend…funny how I take this route all the time but have never seen the wheel like this until this day…It reminds me of the sun rising or setting…however you want to look at it..anyhoot…here it is…I had the 50 1.2 only with me..so i am going back with the other babies to give it a go again…

Me: hey Em, you want to go on the Ferris Wheel with mom?
EM: No it is too big!
Me: Too Big??
EM: Yeah, I will go on one in Texas where it is smaller..
Can you tell we talk about Texas all the time…But I guess one thing I have failed to teach her…is our motto..ALL THINGS ARE BIGGER IN TEXAS! LOL!

we managed to squeeze in the park too…we fed ducks and the fish, played kick ball, played with the frisbe a bit…which em thinks is her dora plate..so i shouldn’t be surprised if she starts throwing her dinner plate across the room..LOL!!! played some hide and seek and had another picnic…which is my new favorite thing to do..picnic!! i left my camera at home and we had the point and shoot..here is Em’s take on portraits of her mommy and daddy…not too shabby if you ask me…

Yall are cracking me up with all the emails asking me if I ever sleep…And the answer for the most part is no….not really..more like cat nap..but I am telling you , I have way more energy than when I was not doing much..The food and the exercise carries me through the days!
