really #18 already! It seems so long ago yet so just yesterday that I started this little blog and my little business. As always, I have something cooking in the oven and adding something to the mix…always doing something new…always thinking of improving and adding to my life…
so whats in the oven??? A kickin boooootty Senior Site! Yes, I am adding to my business…Super Sexy..Super Hot…Super Hip …Super Modern Seniors! It has been a blast photographing and hanging out with my Senior Models. If you have or know of a Senior that wants to get in on the action..send them my way. Starting week 5 of the Boot Camp! I keep these updates here for two reasons…Reason # One…for ME…A way to see where I have come…And a weekly reminder of my goals…A place to document my journey so that I can look back and track the road that I have traveled….and Reason # Two..for YOU!
My hope is that it serves as encouragement to do something now..Not to put your health and you wants on hold any longer….to move just a little bit more today than we did yesterday….to make yourself a priority for a smidgen of time each day…I know that we are all pulled in every other direction ….I know all the excuses..trust me I have said them all…the kids this…the husband that…the house this…the errands that…my job this…yada yada yada…
But here is the thing…I have been balancing everything the best that I could for a while and hitting the gym or the pavement the majority of the time…but i wasnt seeing the results that I wanted…I felt like I was putting in the time and not seeing much happening..the problem was this…I was putting in the time but not at a level of EFFORT and INTENSITY that I needed to see the results…So basically I was half a#$’in it. I was maintaining…Maintaining was not what I wanted…I wanted to tone…I wanted to lose the body fat that was hiding all my muscles that I have worked so hard for….I wanted to have more energy…I wanted my old body back before I had the kiddo….
So i thought about what would get me to the gym as much as I needed and workout at the level that I needed…What would keep me there after a few weeks…I thought about why I have continued to run M to school everyday…the bottom line…money…gas was getting outrageous and it was my little way of protesting filling the tank…so instead of driving her…i ran…
So I took that theory and found John..I knew if I actually paid someone to workout with me, then I would go..I would take full advantage of everything he offered…I would do it to the end..no matter what got in the way..i would still go…
So figure out what will keep you going to the gym and working out…because everyone starts but after while things come up and then before you know it has been 2 months since the last time you hit the gym or the pavement…been there way too many times…So lets take this journey together..the journey to claim our bodies back…the get rid of the jiggle jiggle…
Want some more encouragement…in 4 weeks I have lost 9 % body fat…3 inches off my thighs, 2.5 inches off my waist and 1.5 inches off my hips…and 9lbs…
So get up and get moving…the longer you wait..the harder you have to work to get it off…and HARD work it is….i wont lie and sugar coat it..it is hard work…but you owe it to yourself..you deserve it…we all deserve to have the strong healthy body that we want for ourselves…so get out there and claim it back!!!

Yummy recipe for the week…
So I had a Lia Sohpia (www.liasophia) at the house this weekend..I was super excited about it..thinking about all the yummy things I would make…cream cheese filled grilled pitas…pizza dip…potato wedges…rice crispies…brownies..you know all the normal yummies for shin-digs…then I remembered all the hard work I have been doing for the last month and thought there was NO WAY I was making all that stuff…because there was NO WAY I could resist chowing down on them…see I know me…out of site out of mind..in site…in my tummy..that is how I roll…no control when it comes to sweets…so then I had to think…think really hard what is yummy and good for your in terms of dessert…Then comes Andrea…She has this awesome recipe that I adapted to the way that I eat now..and boy o boy…the apple crumble that I made…man o man..super yummy!!!
basically it is oats, whole wheat flour, cinnamon, all spice, apple sauce, apples, and walnuts…mix it all up and bake it..super easy to make…man it was so good…thanks again Andrea
