Ciao friends and family!

This blog is now my personal space.  My life as it happens.  A way for friends and family to stay connected while we continue our military journey from place to place. 

In the past this blog has been mainly a space to write about clients and their families. I will no longer be updating this blog with my recent commissioned work.

99 projects to do..you take one down..you pass it around…98 projects to do on the wall…la la la la la!

I finished one of the many personal photography projects I have on my list!  YAY Me!!!!  I have been wanting to do a “session” all about M.  Every year I make a album of M.  The album is all about what milestones she has accomplished in the year…images of different stages and places that we have gone.  Just really anything everything that has happened in her life for that year.  It is a huge undertaking.  And every year I tell myself I will be more organized throughout the year and keep things together..so that when i go to make the album I don’t want to shot my big toe off!

Needless to say it hasn’t really happen like that yet!  But instead, I thought I would make little mini albums of her.  Sooooo…here is a recent album of miss priss! these are a few of my favorite page layouts…enjoy!

Many many many more pages but I think I already got a little post happy! LOL!

And yes, in-case you are wondering I do offer these to my clients.  The sizes vary.  This particular album is 10×10 in size.  I do not use “album templates”, so no two albums are alike.  My albums are totally customized for you and your family.  I normally add words and sayings and little corks that are all about your family.  So not cool to be talking about this awesome album that you have and then show it to a friend..and they are like..hey that is just like mine!  All of our stories are unique and different and so should our cherished albums.

Kristie - WOW! Love the layout. So clean and simple and modern. I really like how you have a pop of color here and there. Excellent work! How do you do design your albums??

Shelia - Ciao Kristie!! Thanks for stopping by the blog! Be sure to subscribe up top so that you don't miss a post. My albums...these are a labor of love! I design them using CS3 InDesign. My workflow is different each time because they are totally customized. But something that is always present is a flow of images. I create the ablums so that it becomes a story. A story about the person, the family and the day. Everyone has a story and I my goal with every album is to tell that story.
