First complete Boot Camp week down and 11 more to go..And can I just say…insane…totally insane! But I love it. I have way more energy. I feel strong and I am totally motivated! And somehow, 5 more hours each day was dropped in my lap. Before I started this, I felt like I never had enough time in a day. Being a mom of 2.5yr old that requires ALOT of attention, being a wife and running a business, doesn’t leave much time left over for anything else. But, I decided I was going to do this for myself and I needed to do it. And I have. And the time part just worked it self out..5 extra hours just like that!…The boot camp goes something like this…
Monday 5AM Class (pure hell) 11:30AM Toning and Abs (hard core) 5:00PM Boxing (makes me happy)
Tuesday 5AM Class (pure hell again) 11:30AM Toning and Cardio (fun class) 5:00PM Cardio Funk (totally insane-fastest cardio step class I have ever been in..nothing comes even close to this speed)
Wednesday Repeat Mondays schedule
Thursday Repeat Tuesdays schedule
Friday 5AM Class
Each class is an hour of pure hard core work out…to the point of legs shaking, not -being -able -to -hold- a -pen- kind- of- workout. But it is addicting. I like how he pushes us to the point that we thought we couldn’t go. At the end of class, I am like… did I really do that many curls and THAT many squats. Really??
Every bone, muscle, joint and hair on and in my body hurts. But I know, it will get easier and better. Plus the 4 pounds that I have lost in one WEEK is extremely motivating. Because I have been walk/running 7-14K since April now and the scale has not drop that much that quickly ever!
For those keeping me on my toes..yes, i am still walk/running M to school..But it is a little slower and not as much running. Goes something like this…walk..run..walk..walk …run…walk…walk …walk…jog…walk! LOL!
Anyways..I am super stoked and motivated. Anyone on Oki that wants to join me..let me know..you can check out the boot camp for free on Thursdays if you go with a member. and plus you will be helping a sista out..if we don’t bring a friend we pretty much have to be rolled out of the class because nothing works by the end of it! LOL!! but not kidding…really someone please pretty please with splenda on top come with me!

I had my first encounter of the “why”s..why mom…but why mom..but why…It all started while we were driving and hit a small little pot hole that made the entire truck shake..that prompted the 20+ plus minutes (atleast it felt like that long) of why’s..good times..and i ran out of answers quickly..at one point..i thought to myself..what are we talking about again!

The New Yorker Cover…Not sure how I feel on what their intentions were…I truly love this country and the right to free speech and press…however I think personal morals and respect for our fellow man should have a major role in how we express ourselves.

So with all of this working out..I am faced with a dilemma…for skinny folks that don’t have big thighs that don’t touch or junk in the trunk…skip down to the next section and grab a donut filled with jelly and sugar on top. LOL!! One day I will be in your club..the NTT (non thigh touching) Club. Yall are awesome keep up the great work!

the dilemma is this…To break away from the 80’s biker shots or keep them..and when I say 80’s I really mean from the 80’s. I have had them THAT long. But they are that fantastic…fantastically psychedelic green and blue…fantastically shinning and iridescent…fantastically long…long enough that they don’t ride up kind of fantastic…which is were my dilemma is…all the other biker shorts are short and creep and creep and creep until they cant creep anymore..they were not made for girls like me…girls that have thunder thighs that their main goal in life is for their thighs not to touch when walking or standing or running or yada yada yada…..I am not bias…I give them all a chance…all brands and non brands of biker shorts…but they have all been graciously donated to skinny chics that don’t have to worry about the creeping issue..
I am a pretty hip chic when it comes to fashion but my bikers are really cramping my style! sooooo my fellow thigh touchers..what is working for you???

what it is about elevators and numbers…we all know how to count and which floor and order that the elevator is going to..but we still all watch the numbers…is it a social thing…is it that we really just don’t know what to do in the elevator…is it a nervous habit as my mom would say….not sure what it is..but every time I have to make sure the elevator passes every floor by watching the numbers..
