Ciao friends and family!

This blog is now my personal space.  My life as it happens.  A way for friends and family to stay connected while we continue our military journey from place to place.

In the past this blog has been mainly a space to write about clients and their families. I will no longer be updating this blog with my recent commissioned work.

In the land of cyberworld, I have been hesitant to write about my personal life.  In an effort to keep connected to my friends and family, while still maintaining my privacy, I will now have all future post require a password.  If you have not been given the password yet, please text me, use the contact form here on the blog or email me.

As the saying goes…

It was a rough morning to say the least…I woke up to a screaming child and then walked 7k in the scorching heat..Only to come home to find that my lifeline to the world was cut off…dum dum dum…the internet was not working!!  I repeat the Internet was not working…Houston we have a problem…I felt like calling 9-1-1…Call my crazy but that is how connected I am to my computer and the Internet.   I know they need AA classes for folks like me!  Hello my name is Shelia and I am addicted to www!  LOL!!

I decided that my body was telling me I needed carbs and I needed them NOW!  Why else would I be freakin’ out about the small things…Of course..I was carb deprived!  More like Penne Abbreriata deprived.  I knew exactly where my body was telling me I NEEDED to go..And go FAST!!

So there I found myself with the hubby and the kid sitting across from me in the all time best place to eat..Capricossa’s…I was in Italian Bliss…Enjoying every bite of Penne and every bite of pizza…Laughing while M does what she does…Dip her french fries in her ketchup and then in her orange juice…in that particular order…I know weird…really weird!!!

And then to top off her dinner she decided to end it with a lovely drink..Coffee milk in her orange juice..I know gross..really really gross…but this didn’t bother me…why because of two decisions…

The decision I made today was that yummy glass of red wine! And the second decision I made today was the second order of that fabulous red wine…Nothing like some good wine and penne to end my stressful day and to look past the gross and disgusting things 2 years old can come up with!!!

As the saying goes…a glass of wine a day keeps the doctor away..(or something like that)
