Ciao friends and family!

This blog is now my personal space.  My life as it happens.  A way for friends and family to stay connected while we continue our military journey from place to place.

where oh where was that place??

That place I was talking about on yesterdays post would be the Botanical Gardens!  Happy Friday all!!

Today’s new find is the Botanical Gardens.  It has a name in front of it..something like Southeast or some direction..who knows…What I do know is that the place rocks!! We have been going there for a really long time and the best part about it is the Mommy and Baby Program.  Basically if you have a munchkin under 3yrs, the kiddo and the parents(both parents) get in FREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!  They used to have the program where the grandparents can get in on their good looks too..so that was a savings of $40 each time!  Whoa whooooooooo!! 

What to do there…..everything!  Feed the fish….ride the tram….walk the gardens….visit the enchanted forest and run with the butterflies…..play on the playground…my fav has to be the zip line!  I love love love the zip line!! So does my M!

How to get there….

From Foster….travel towards Gate 2 Street…not sure the name of the road…(see I bad really really bad with names of kinds) stay on the rode, pass Kadena Gate 2…turn left on 329 and follow the signs…a few more blocks

From Kadena

Go straight out Gate 3 of Kadena..pass Shields and follow the signs…Super easy and super fast to get to!

Pamelala - My daughter and I are going here on Monday, we can't wait. There is a famous place in London called Kew Gardens that is similar and it has a Japanese Garden, now I am going to the real thing! Whooo Hoooo Great shot of the bridge BTW :o) How was Kokusai?

Shelia - Yall will have a blast!!! Make sure to go across the street to the enchanted foreset. That is where the butterfly room is and much much more. And you HAVE to ride that zip line! So much fun!
