It is Q&A day!! The question for this week comes from James…”Do you know of a place on-line and here on island to order camera stuff?”
Great question….There is a great little camera shop here on-island that I am at almost weekly. It is by Foster. Leaving Foster through the Commissary Gate, make a RIGHT. The camera shop will be on your left, just past the McDonalds. Kinda by the Furniture Warp Store (that big pink building). The camera shop is a blue multi colored building with fish and Fuji on the outside.
That place has everything. There is a fella that speaks really good English. I also go there to try out new lenses. I just take my camera body in there…and try the lenses on for size. The lenses are more expensive that we what you can find on-line. But their filters and other stuff is reasonably priced. I have also had them order stuff from the catalogs and it arrives within a week..comes from Tokyo. Like lost hoods or CF card holders..etc…
Places on-line…so many places on-line to order from. B&H Photo is a great resource. I order all my gear from there. Shipping is fast too! Amazon is another great resource. Had great luck with both sites!!
