Happy MONDAY!!! Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!!
Now that my snazzy website is up and running, it is time to get the blog going in the direction that I envision it would…up-close and real… A place to chat about anything and everything…A place to get to know me a little better and my photography…I feel it is so important to be comfortable with your photographer…When we do our shoots…I want to be like an old friend that just happens to have a camera…Someone you can relax in front and be yourselves…
So this is the plan…each day of the week will have something different offered…from question and answers, to random thoughts, to new finds, to tricks and tips, all of course sprinkled with session sneak peeks from your session, your friends sessions and their friends sessions…(and oh the grammar majors out there..I know I get big fat F….but I just want the freedom to write and not worry about being politically correct and dotting every i and crossing every t..:-) )

remember that commercial…."you hit a bump and take a ride…" that slip and slide one…you know the one…it was green and had an AWESOME crocodile pool at the end….ahhh..memories…or the original yellow banana slip and slide…so much fun!! I was taken back to those days today…M played on that ALL day today…the best $7.95 toy EVER!! I was just dying to give it a go…the inner kid couldn’t resist and I snuck in a little knee action..dont tell the doc!

GO SPURS GO SPURS!!! Where did the preseason and reg season go?? who knows, but I am super STOKED that it is play-off time! I bet that was a great game to be at..OT after OT…and Duncan hitting a 3 with final seconds of OT to go to another OT!! Man, what a game!!

anyone catch the Oprah episode…Live for Less…basically it is about wastefulness and the lack of connection families have today…one of the moms on there summed up what I think is happening all across america…"here I am at the kitchen table and wished that my family was here with me…but such and such is watching tv…such and such is on the computer…such and such is playing video games…we just need help in learning how to talk again!"…..I printed out the challenge she gave to her families and to the viewers and so far so good…turning lights off and not using paper goods isnt really an issue with us…I think the hardest part for us will be the eating out and being unplugged…we gave it a test drive this weekend and are starting full force today..so I will keep you posted! if you want to see the rest of the challenge go to www.oprah.com

jci time…errrrrr…going on our 4th year and this is the first time having to jci…for those in the states…jci is an inspection that they do on all vehicles here in japan…happens every 2 years…and it is mommas of all mommas of inspections…if all is good..you are looking at 500.00 a pop per car easily..so lets all think sweet thoughts…because road tax is due too…(that is where they tax you to use the roads…another 200.00 a pop per year per car)..for those here IN japan…yep that is right..it is road tax time again…seems like just yesterday we where standing in those lines paying it..but this year…you don’t have to wait in lines..you can take it to your insurance office and they will take care of it for you…i took mine last week and i pick it on tomorrow…:-)

anyone see that movie…dan in real life?? great movie..super funny and a little predictable but still good…only one problem…we got short changed during the credits…the movie was shut off as dan and marie were getting married…(we still love you doug!)..so what else happened…did mitch and the doctor hook up?? what about the daughters…did the boyfriend come back?? tell me what you know?? I will wonder forever….
